Congrats to Meece. The Young Panthers had a great run this year and fought to the bitter end. Congrats to Coach Branham and his staff on great season! Pikeville again was the last 1A school standing. Interesting fact: Next years HS team at Pikeville will have 3 of their 4 classes of players that will have made it all the way to the final weekend of the state playoffs as 8th graders...If that doesnât get Panther fans excited for the next 4-5 years, I donât know what will! HAIL PIKEVILLE!!!

First congratulations to Meece, and also these young Panthers made an old man proud of you. Good things are going to come to you guys just keep working. Donât hang your heads you guys had a great year but as always GO PANTHERS!!!
