Over the last few years the Kentucky Middle School Football Association has seen the spring 7 on 7 season grow, with more teams participating and more events each year and has seen how much it has helped programs to improve. As the KYMSFA continues to add opportunities to its members teams, coaches, and players, we are excited to announce something new for 2018.

2018 Spring 7 on 7 Announcement
KYMSFA is excited to announce the addition of the KYMSFA 7 on 7 Cup Championship for 2018.

During the 7 on 7 season, teams will earn placement points based on finishes in pre approved tournaments they enter. Points will accumulate throughout the 7 on 7 season, from events from April 7, 2018 culminating in the final tournament at the University of Kentucky in June. The top 2 teams with the most points for the season will recieve trophies.

In order for a 7 on 7 event to be approved, please see the attached 7 on 7 cup and 7 on 7 event approval forms. Out of state events can be approved as well, please forward to the host sites. Remember, approval forms must be submitted 10 days before the event in order to be approved.

ALL these tournaments are for current 6TH & 7TH graders (No current 8th graders are allowed to participate unless noted)

For all tournaments your team will need:

Helmets, mouthpiece, uniform shirt or jersey for ALL players

May 12th:

Marshall County 7on7 & Lineman Challenge

Cost: $200 per team (includes 70n7 team and lineman challenge) ($150 for extra team)

Cost: $150 per team 4 game guaranteed (3 pool + playoff)

Info: All games will be recorded and distributed (via Hudl) day after tournament
