So with the win over Butler you can say that it has messed up a few bubble teams chances of getting in. Butler will get in because of there play during the season. Will it knock a WVU or another team from getting in.

Lets here it.
Butler loss cost them a seed line or two, but they are defintely in as a 6 or 7 IMO....

Missouri State is out now, and it could hurt a Big East team (Nova, Cuse, WVU, etc.)....

also watch out for the possible Texas Tech-Kansas State game on Friday... winner is in, loser is sitting sore for a good part of Sunday waiting....

Does Kentucky having any chance at falling on the bubble if we lose to Bama tomorrow?
There name alone gets them in

They need to have a great showing or a win to get a top 10 seed.
I think WV gets in if they beat the Friars and upset Louisville.Great season any way it goes for West Virginia.4 new starters and well basically a new team.Great job by Beilein getting 21 wins.If they dont go to the big dance maybe they could make a long run in the NIT and finish in the ap top 25.

If UK losses, they'll need some things to happen to still not make the tournament...

1. Memphis will have to lose the C-USA tournament, it's a one team league at this point

2. Xavier will have to lose the A-10 (I think UMASS will get in, but most people are not in agreement)

3. Nevada will have to lose the WAC (again, one team league unless they are upset)

4. Another major conference has a surprise conference winner that would have been in the tournament (a team almost always comes out of nowhere to atleast make it to the conference final)

If 2 or 3 of the 4 happen, UK might be sittin hot on Sunday... While they did play a tough schedule, the fact that they didnt' beat anyone in the top 25 could play a bigger role than predicted... and the committee differs from year to year on how they judge such material.....

It's really had to look at a team like West Virginia, who did better in the Big East (tougher league than SEC this year IMO) with a better non-conference win (UCLA), and with more overall wins, and take them over UK if they lose tommorrow and WVU losses tommorrow as well...

The RPI means beans anymore, 10 years ago it was used with more precision that it is now... I just dont think RPI means much anymore....
