Region 1: Union County (Small School State Duals Champion. Also defeated St. Xavier for the true state duals championship.)
Region 2: LaRue County
Region 3: Fern Creek
Region 4: St. Xavier (Large School State Duals Champion)
Region 5: Oldham County
Region 6: Simon Kenton
Region 7: Madison Central
Region 8: Johnson Central
There are WAY TOO many individual place winners for me to put on here. There are 672 place winners in regional wrestling competition.
14 weight classes, 1st-6th place is awarded, there are 8 regions.
But only the top four place winners move on to the state tournament next Friday & Saturday (2/17-2/18) at the AllTech arena on the property of the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.
