Why don't they have a state tourney for the Middle School Girls fast pitch??

Thoughts
The western part of the state has had their version of a middle school state tournament for years. The problem is that those schools play middle school softball in the fall, while schools in the east play in the spring.

Until East and West get on the same page season wise, you won't have a "true" state championship. If the teams from the western part of the state aren't playing in it, you don't have a state tournament.
