Johnson Central dominated the JV game. 28-8. JC has good speed and great size on the 7th grade team.
8th grade--Belfry 44-Johnson Central 24. JC controlled first quarter with a great, time consuming drive that took up 7:00 minutes of the first quarter. Took the lead 8-0. Kinda woke Belfry up. The Pirates scored on every single possession. Their offense is explosive to say the least. Offensive line has really jelled and fires off the ball well. Defensively...not the best they've played...but JC is very adept running the 2nd man thru...and their counter dive is exceptional. Good passing team as well. These two will line it up again in a couple of weeks in Paintsville. Should be interesting. Both will be difficult outs in their respective Divisions
