Final from last night.
This game was an offensive showcase. Paintsville scored touchdowns on all 5 possessions. Valley scored 4 TD's on their 5 possessions. The difference in the game was a Wildcat fumble near midfield on their first drive, the only possession they did not score on.
Paintsville has a very impressive passing attack. Valley was able to get some defensive stops against the Tigers' running game, but whenever Paintsville needed a big play, they went to the air to get it. Twice in the game Valley had Paintsville in a 4th down situation, and both times they converted a pass to pick up the needed yards. Their QB was accurate and their receivers did not drop passes, I believe they only had two incompletions all night.
Valley takes their second loss and falls to 11-2. They wrap up their season on Thursday against Mullins.
