Final today in a rematch of a game that Valley won in overtime a few weeks ago.
Having watched the Wildcats struggle the whole game the first time these teams met, this did not even look like the same team. Valley controlled this game from start to finish.
The Cats had the ball 3 times in the first half and scored every time, while Neon went 3-and-out both of their first two possessions. After Valley's last score, Neon moved the ball into enemy territory but ran out of time before the break.
In the third, Neon broke a couple big runs to get close to scoring, but Valley stopped them on 4th down at the 3-yard-line to keep the shutout. After another long TD run, the score was 28-0 and the running clock began. After Neon was forced to punt again, Valley played the subs the rest of the way.
Valley now moves to 5-0 on the year. Next up: South Floyd on Wednesday.
