The Middle School Baseball State Tournament will start with Semi State play May 17-18. The final four will be the following weekend.

Not mandatory by the state and each middle school team is invited.
Every high school is contacted via email and asked to pass the information onto the Middle School coach.
Meece Middle School is the host site for the East and Adair High School is the host for the west.
The past 2 years the final four has been played at Lindsey Wilson College.
I would contact the coach at Meece and Adair County High School for information.

Below is the information on the 2014 Kentucky Middle School Baseball Semi state and state tournament. There has been concern over why we do not format the tournament like our own high schools where we compete for district, region, and state tournament bids. This would be great, in a perfect world, but I have found that it is much tougher in middle school baseball. Therefore, we have elected to continue the same format as in past couple of years.
West Semi State held at Lindsey Wilson Park in Columbia, KY May 17-18
Tournament will be single elimination with both the winner and runner-up moving on to state finals
$100 entry fee and (2) baseballs per game (cost covers umpires and field use)
East Semi State held at Somerset High School in Somerset, KY May 17-18
Tournament will be single elimination with both the winner and runner-up moving on to state finals
$100 entry fee and (2) baseballs per game (cost covers umpires and field use)
State Tournament held at Lindsey Wilson Park in Columbia, KY May 24-25
Tournament will be 4 team double elimination tournament
Entry fee is $75 and (2) baseballs per game
