The KMSFA was asked by the football staff of Campbellsville Middle to assist with the procurement of a KMSFA Kentucky Team jersey for their player Cameron Smith who tragically passed away at his home on Friday.

It was decided that we would go a step further and we coordinated with the staff of the University of Kentucky to get a #75 jersey from them. They had to get this cleared through the NCAA, compliance departments and several other "hoops" that they had to jump through. They expedited the process and overnighted the jersey to Campbellsville.

Coach Mark Stoops and Director of Operations Frank Bufano went above and beyond. They even had Cameron's last name stitched on the jersey, as you can see in the photos.

Please join us as we continue to lift that young man's family and his community and his team up in prayer.

And to the UK fans on this page, know that you have a staff there that is first class all the way, that went to these lengths to make a gesture to a grieving family, who values relationships throughout this state, and who has demonstrated a commitment to cultivating football at every level in our Commonwealth.
