Congratulations to Elkhorn Middle School for winning the 7th grade division and to Jefferson County Traditional Middle School for winning the 8th grade division at the Derby City 7 on 7 held yesterday at Ballard High School in Louisville.
Special thanks go to Ballard Head Coach Mike Jackson and his staff for hosting a great tournament. Coach Carlos Stallings and his staff at Westport Middle also went above and beyond to facilitate a great day of football for all the teams.
Up next weekend is the tournament at Campbellsville University. There are still a handful of slots left for teams to come play on their turf facility.
