So i have this computer game... and i installed it at my house and it works fine.. At my house I have win xp..

I have a new laptop.. I download the game and don't have no problems.. ON the laptop i have xp...

The game should be compatible, but when i go to open it up,, it'll start then just go off.. Everytime...

Does anyone have an idea why it would do this..

are u sure it got all the drivers and files it needed to run?

Did you get it going, if not see if your laptop is compatible with the specs on the side or bottom of the game box. Try clearing out your cookies, temp files, and even history could be a glitch in the cookies or temp. Also check your Dll. files...if none of that dont work try what SE04.

still can't get it to run... don't know wat the problem is

Does your laptop video card support 3d acceleration. What is the game?

Have you Tried Reinstalling the game? or redownloading it then Reinstalling?

Make sure ICQ or no other messenger is open, they'll cause your program to close.

P.S -- your computer might not have a good enough video card to run this game.
