Tigers move on to play saturday at Martin County.

Good game by both teams Paintsville just seemed to have the better line, and playcalling. Very well officiated game, I have to say though, I have ran chains for a many a football game and those might have been the worst fans I have ever seen, If anything there weren't enough penalty's called on Louisa they threw punches, were kicking our kids when they were down, and all kinds of other shenanigans that went uncalled.
I saw the same punches, etc. Just proud of our boys for keeping cool. And, playing some pretty good football at the same time.
Good game by both teams.. did seem like there were several more penalties for the Bulldogs than the Tigers. Should have seen footprint on one of the LMS players chinstrap.. where a Tiger kicked him in the face when he was down.. A lot of bad language going on out there by the Tigers despite warning at beginning of game standing on sideline was easily heard... you may want watch that, it may cause a lot of trouble further down the road. So we should move on and say good luck to the Tigers for the rest of the tournament. Luke Trimble hope to see you back playing for your Uncle Blake in the future.. Your a great player and remember where you got your start.. as a Bulldog!
Ballfan, I do believe #2 likes blue way too well to think about wearing any other color. As for more penalties being called on the Bulldogs, you're right. But they weren't bad calls. Actually, there should've been a lot more.

Agree with you PTF 100%. The LC players were incited by their fan base. Terrible. At least no Tigers were escorted off the field by their coach. I did think that was a good move on his part. Must give 87 credit this time. At least they choose to leave the homies alone and start on somebody else.
87 on which team? I don't remember that number.
Congrats to Paintsville
I thought they played the winner of Evarts and Cumberland? Evarts won 22-8. They are supposed to play at Sheldon Clark.
Union beats Anderson County 20-6

How can you say very well officiated in one line and the next line say that numerous personal fouls were not called?

I was at this game and all the Louisa players that started the game finished the game. I do not recall any being escorted off the field and if it was that bad then the ref's should have thrown them out for flagrant personal fouls. What I saw was a very hard fought football game between 2 very good teams. There did appear to be a lot of jawboning going on that goes with every game. The ref's control the game and need to set the tone early with unsportsman like conduct calls and if warranted personal fouls and if necessary ejections. Obviously the refs did not think the game play was as bad as some think or they would have called the penalties. Good luck to Paintsville in the state tourney and bring back some hardware to Eastern KY. Wear those hard earned Tiger stripes proudly. There GRRRREAT!!!

Try asking your coach if he led the kid off the field at the end of the game. He is a very nice guy and will shoot it to you straight. I did not catch the #
but they weren't dancing. Anyway it's history now.

You ask the Coach Michael Woods, Charlie.. Luke Schaeffer #24 went to the locker room temporarily with a cleat malfunction.., nothing more as you would like in your mind to imagine, was back in for rest of the game. By the way Charlie..you have a hard time picking which team to root for.. In Baseball you love LC in Football all you can do is trash LC and sing about Paintsville. LC had a player transfer from there in baseball last year because.. he didn't like playing for their team. Wondered if this had anything to do with the love for LC Baseball? Maybe a relative or something? Just saying. I worked in Paintsville for about 10 years and have many family members still there. How about calling a truce and giving the very good LMS football team a congrats on their season too. PS if you would like the coaches number I can send it to you.

Very wrong 02 I don't have a problem rooting for the Dawgs at any level . What I do have a problem with is body slams after the whistle when being directed by the crowd. It doesn't matter Paintsville, L.C., Notre Dame or Tim Buck Too.
I have not trashed these kids but it should make anybody sick to hear fans direct their players to hurt another kid. FYI my relative was the one who was getting assaulted after he and his partner did their thing to The Dawgs.Did you ask the coach? Isaw what I stated so I don't need to call him. Would you like a game film? By the way the LMS Football team certainly are to be commended on their season. Great bunch of kids but as to some of the fans?
