Baylor Catcher Clare Hosack, was seriously injured Saturday when she took a foul ball to her face. Lady Bears coach Glenn Moore said afterward that Hosack had multiple fractures and cuts.

“The last I heard was four bones are fractures and obviously some stitching on the bottom and top of her eye,” Moore said. “That was a tough break there.”


Moore of Canion, “It’s pretty safe to say that she’ll be back in the circle” for game two, meaning Georgia has one more try to figure her out.

I've never been hit in the eye by a ball but I have been hit in the mouth by a line drive that was hit right back at me. doesn't feel to good.

Wish her a speedy recovery and that she's ok
