Four of John Calipari's recruits have been named to the 2011 McDonald's All-American Game, played March 30 in Chicago.
Marquis Teague, Anthony Davis, Michael Gilchrist and Kyle Wiltjer will give the Wildcats a total of 34 McDonaldâs All-Americans all-time, which is third among colleges.
It marks just the second time one school has signed four after North Carolina did it in 2009 with John Henson, Dexter Strickland and David and Travis Wear.
UK womenâs signee Bria Goss also has been named to the McDonald's All-American girls' team. She will be the second consecutive McDonaldâs All-American signed by Matthew Mitchell.
Rockcastle County senior Sarah Hammond is the first female from the state of Kentucky and first U of L womenâs signee named a McDonaldâs All-American.
Bowling Green's Chane Behanan also was selected to play in the boys' game. Behanan has signed to play at Louisville.
